- Congratulations to Troop 11's newest Eagle Scouts, Sam T. and Brad W. Several more are working toward the highest rank in Scouting.
- We are happy to welcome several new scouts to our troop. The fun begins when you begin camping each month!
- Congratulations to Mr. Boyer, Mr. Medley, and Mr. Burton who all received special awards at last month's Five Rivers District Dinner! They are a fine example of our strong adult leadership!
- From the Troop 11 Committee... It has been brought to our attention that there are too many distractions from the use of cell phones and electronic devices at our Troop 11 Meetings and campouts. Do not use them during these activities. Cell phones and electronic devices will be collected at the beginning of the campout by the Scoutmaster. Phones will be returned to the Scout on Sunday at the end of the outing in time to call parents. This rule applies to Scouts of all ages.
- Check out the "Calendar and Events" for more Troop 11 activities for the year and beyond.

Our Troop 11
Welcome to BSA Troop 11 from First Baptist Church in Jefferson City, Missouri! Our unit is over twenty years old this year and going strong. We use this site to keep our members up-to-date with all of the happenings of our troop as well as a way for you, our parents to share information with your friends and family. We hope you'll use and enjoy features such as the online calendar and photo gallery. Suggestions and comments on this site are always welcome. Thanks!
About Us
Our troop participates in a wide variety of activities like rappelling, first aid, camping, biking, hiking, rifle, archery, and shotgun shooting, fishing, wilderness survival, canoeing, swimming & boating, water & snow skiing, monthly camping, road trips to major cities in different states, and touring historic sites, just to name a few. We are also active in one of the top ten summer camp programs in the nation, Camp Geiger, and the outstanding Scout honor society, The Tribe of Mic-O-Say. We have regular troop meetings every Monday night from 7:00-8:30. At these meetings, we work on merit badges and rank advancement. All Scouts have the opportunity to run for leadership positions and have the power to decide which activities we perform. We know you are up to the challenge!
