Our Troop 11
Welcome to BSA Troop 11 from First Baptist Church in Jefferson City, Missouri! Our unit is twenty years old
this year and going strong. We use this site to keep our members up-to-date with all of the happenings of our troop as well as a way for you, our parents to share information with your friends and family. We hope you'll use and enjoy features such as the online calendar and photo gallery. Suggestions and comments on this site are always welcome. Thanks!
About Us
Our troop participates in a wide variety of activities like rappelling, first aid, camping, biking, hiking, rifle, archery, and shotgun shooting, fishing, wilderness survival, canoeing, swimming, skiing, camping, road trips to different states, and touring historic sites, just to name a few. We are also active in one of the top ten summer camp programs in the nation, Camp Geiger, and the outstanding Scout honor society, The Tribe of Mic-O-Say. We have regular troop meetings every Monday night from 7:00-8:30. At these meetings, we work on merit badges and rank advancement. All Scouts have the opportunity to run for leadership positions and have the power to decide which activities we perform. We know you are up to the challenge!
